Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health in Marietta, GA is seeking a Technician to assist with intake information, admissions interviews, and developing a treatment plan with the care team. You will help monitor progress toward treatment goals and support the unit.

You will monitor physical and emotional wellbeing, assist with ADLs, lead activities, document vitals in Carelogic, and respond to crisis situations. Benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the individual's physical and emotional wellbeing and report unusual behavior or physical complaints to direct supervisor.
• Obtain the individual's physical condition/vital signs at designated times during the shift.
• Assist individuals with ADLs supplies and keep living areas clean.
• Assist in admission and discharge, including vital signs and orientation to the unit.
• Lead milieu activities such as groups and community meetings.
• Chart observations and document vitals in Carelogic.
• Participate in educational programs and trainings.
• Respond to crisis situations and assist with interventions.
• Provide direct care for individuals as needed.
• Transport individuals to discharge locations.
• Assist in crisis prevention and management.
• Help serve meals and snacks for Food Service Workers.
