Job summary

Peace River Center seeks an experienced CSU Clinician II to deliver direct therapeutic services and discharge planning within a secure crisis stabilization unit. The role emphasizes safe crisis interventions, collaborative care, and coordinated planning with physicians and nursing staff.

Applicants should have a Master’s in a mental health field; licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW) is preferred, with at least five years in social services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health required; LMHC/LMFT/LCSW preferred.
• Minimum of five years in social services; volunteer experience considered.
• On-line Baker Act training, Security Awareness, First Aid, CPR, Netsmart training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CSU crisis assessments and interventions for adults and children.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing and other service providers.
• Develop and review treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide collateral contacts and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner.
