Peace River Center in Florida is seeking a SRT Clinician II to provide direct therapeutic services and discharge planning within a secure crisis stabilization unit for adults and children. The role requires mental health licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW preferred) and a minimum of five years in social services, with 2-3 years in mental health. Responsibilities include crisis assessments, individual/family therapy, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.
Qualifications
Master's degree in mental health required; LMHC, LMFT or LCSW preferred.
Minimum five (5) years in a social service field; 2–3 years with individuals with mental illness preferred.
Must complete: online Baker Act training, Security Awareness, First Aid, CPR, Netsmart training.
Knowledge of Florida Statute Chapter 394 and Florida Admin Codes 65E-5 and 65E-12.
Responsibilities
Conduct crisis assessments/interventions within CSU and coordinate with the team.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
Coordinate with Physicians/ARNPs and Nursing team for continuity of care.
Assist in development and implementation of day treatment activities and therapeutic groups for CSU clients.
Provide collateral contacts with service providers to ensure continuity of care.
Concisely complete clinical documentation and related paperwork in a timely manner.
