Job summary

TFI Family Services is seeking a Crisis Specialist Supervisor to lead a team of Crisis Support Workers and oversee daily operations with a focus on child welfare outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree in human services is required, with preference for two years’ related experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-agency collaboration, and ongoing professional development within a nonprofit environment that values flexible scheduling and employee growth.

• Predictive Index assessments may be used to assist hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area from Monday to Friday, 1pm–10pm, plus on-call coverage as needed.
• Coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in Permanency Services and participate in meetings/trainings.
• Advocate for children and families, connecting them with community resources to build healthy, lasting relationships.

Full-time Description

We are looking for a full-time Crisis Specialist Supervisor to add to our team! You must have a Bachelor’s degree in the human services field from an accredited university. Preferred two (2) years’ experience in Child Welfare.

A Day in The Life as a Crisis Specialist Supervisor

As a Crisis Specialist Supervisor, you supervise the Crisis Support Workers assigned to each area Monday through Friday from 1pm to 10pm and on call as needed. Crisis Support Workers provide after-hours and weekend on-call support to the staff in the Permanency Services Program. Promotes the well-being of children in the Permanency Program, participates in staff meetings and trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services. committees and work-groups.
