Job summary

The Guidance Center in Kansas is seeking a Crisis Director to lead the center's crisis services, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and effective program development. The role reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and includes overseeing staff, training, and partnerships across three counties.

Candidates must hold a relevant clinical license and a Master’s degree, with at least two years of supervisory experience. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board is required by start date.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of crisis services to ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate processes and policies for crisis services delivery and reporting.
• Ensure licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements are met; provide training as needed.
• Lead supervision meetings with supervisees and staff involved in crisis service delivery.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and evaluate crisis staff to maintain high-quality interventions.
• Coordinate staff trainings on crisis intervention, suicide prevention, risk assessment, and de-escalation.
• Oversee Hospital Liaison program for the three counties served by TGC.
• Coordinate with HealthSource partnership for service collaboration and coordination.
