Job summary

Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services seeks a qualified clinician to provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and diagnostic evaluation for individuals needing treatment. The role includes developing treatment plans and coordinating with a network of providers to ensure seamless care in the community.

You will conduct intake assessments, monitor progress, and facilitate engagement in services. A master’s degree and Virginia licensure eligibility are required, with a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Human Services with coursework for licensure in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face and telephone crisis intervention and stabilization.
• Perform diagnostic evaluation and assess need for treatment.
• Develop clinical plans of services for outpatient treatment.
• Coordinate with providers to ensure community-based service continuity.
• Refer to DPCS programs or other community services and facilitate engagement in those services.
