Job summary

MaineHealth Crisis Response Worker LCSW role has clinical responsibility for clients needing a crisis assessment. This will include conducting crisis assessments and documenting findings, maintaining contact with community resources and providing on site clinical consultation with Crisis Response Workers and hospital based staff.

The position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Maine licensure as LCSW or LMSW-CC, with a driver’s license and two years of relevant experience preferred;

Qualifications

  • Education: MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
  • Licensure: Maine LCSW or LMSW-CC required; CSP cert will be provided during training.
  • Experience: Two years in health/mental health setting preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct crisis assessments and document findings.
  • Maintain contact with community resources for clients.
  • Provide on-site clinical consultation with Crisis Response Workers and hospital staff.

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c) is required

Summary

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Master’s Degree in Social work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required.
  • License/Certifications: Maine State licensure to practice as a LCSW or LMSW-CC required. Crisis Service Provider (MHRT/CSP) certification will be provided as part of initial training. Valid Driver’s license required.
  • Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.

The pay range for this position is $66,123.20to $89,481.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
