Job summary

Prisma International is seeking experienced Translators for Pacific Island languages to assist with urgent communication projects for FEMA. Candidates must have 3+ years of professional translation experience and be certified by a recognized organization or hold a relevant degree. Qualifications

  • Reside in the United States or a U.S. territory.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • 3+ years of experience providing written translations.
  • Willingness to abide by Prisma’s Master Service Agreement.
  • Reliable desktop PC or laptop with high-speed internet.
  • Experience using modern CAT tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quick-turn written translations using CAT tools.
  • Adhere to project instructions and glossaries.
  • Ensure cultural and linguistic appropriateness.
  • Perform language quality checks before delivery.
  • Deliver completed translation jobs by deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with the Prisma team.
