Responsibilities

• Provide stabilization to patients presenting at Urgent Behavioral Solutions when requested.
• Apply crisis intervention principles: access, systemic view, possible medication, advocacy and supportive guidance.
• Conduct interviews and assessments, generate initial person-centered treatment plans for new patients.
• Provide follow-up services or coordinate with regular service providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Be knowledgeable in involuntary detention laws and procedures; report to Director of Urgent Care Services.
