Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services Group in New Jersey is seeking a Crisis Response Specialist to evaluate clients in crisis and determine the level of needed services. You will coordinate with a Master’s Level Clinician for additional support when required and ensure culturally appropriate, trauma‑informed care while de-escalating crises.

The role involves safe planning, risk assessment, linkage to services, and follow-up care, with full‑time shifts including a 3:00 pm–7:00 am differential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field from an accredited program, +2 years post‑degree experience.
• Alternate: Bachelor’s in any field with 3 yrs post‑Bachelor’s mental health experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate consumers in crisis and determine the need for additional psychological, psychiatric, or clinical services.
• Coordinate with on‑call Master’s Level Clinician for added support and safety planning as needed.
