Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the DeKalb Regional Crisis Center in Georgia. The RN will provide direct nursing care during crises, perform triage, support medical and psychiatric stabilization, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current GA RN licensure, competency in EHR, and experience in crisis or behavioral health settings is preferred. The unit operates across PES, Temp Observations, and CSU with 24-hour coverage.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Basic computer literacy and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial psychiatric triage and nursing assessments; monitor clients in PES/CSU.
• Administer medications and manage withdrawal monitoring per protocols.
• Lead crisis interventions (BERT) and maintain safety for clients and staff.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, APRNs, clinicians, and care managers for integrated care.
• Document thoroughly in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
