Qualifications

• MD/DO with Georgia license and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Active DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate psychiatric experience with supervisory roles.
• Experience in crisis care, inpatient psychiatry, or related settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric and medical supervision for the Crisis Center, including CSU and PES.
• Maintain an active caseload of patients on the CSU.
• Deliver direct psychiatric care to adults (18+), including evaluations, therapy, and medication management.
• Oversee medical operations and ensure adherence to evidence-based protocols and documentation standards.
• Mentor and supervise APRNs and PAs; provide ongoing training and staff development.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with external partners to strengthen crisis services and community relations.
