River Edge Behavioral Health Center in Macon, GA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on assessing health problems, creating individualized care plans, and delivering direct nursing care in crisis situations while administering medications under careful monitoring.

Shifts include 36 hours weekly (3-12 hour shifts) Sunday–Saturday and every other weekend, with a 7pm–7am

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia
• Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience
• CPR and First Aid certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
• Administer medications (oral, sublingual, IV) and monitor their effects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

At The Recovery Center we provide critical alternative to inpatient hospitalization. We offer walk-in outpatient services 24/7, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services.

Location/Schedule:

3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA – 36 hours 3-12 hours shift Sunday-Saturday and Every Other weekend 7pm7am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client health problems and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
• Administer medications (oral, sublingual, IV) and monitor their effects.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
