Job summary

Dentonmhmr is seeking an entry-level to routine habilitative and rehabilitative patient care professional to join its crisis residential program in Texas. The role involves health and personal care, monitoring clients, and documenting patient conditions; you will respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies under director supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year client care experience preferred.
• Experience working with mental health population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes nightly cleaning duties including disinfecting surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Performs hourly and 30-minute checks on clients; documents activities and provides supportive listening.
• Preps meals for shifts; maintains current food handler's certification.
• Files progress notes, audits charts, and ensures paperwork for new client binders is stocked.
• Performs inventory on food and supplies; submits purchase requests as needed.
• Supervises self-administration of medication and participates in clinical meetings.
• Supports crisis response by connecting individuals to appropriate Center programs and remaining with them as needed to maintain a calm environment.
