Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking full-time Treatment Counselors to join our Crisis/IRTS team. The role focuses on direct intensive residential treatment, crisis stabilization, and recovery‑oriented care in Minnesota.

The new master schedule emphasizes work-life balance with shorter weeks, rotating shifts, and competitive shift differentials. A $1,000 hiring bonus is offered for external candidates, with mornings rotations across Saint Paul locations.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in their mental health recovery using person-centered approaches.
• Model clinical knowledge in relation to individual goals, treatment plans, and diagnoses.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation, prioritizing safety for clients and the program.
• Conduct assessments, plan-of-care reviews, and discharge planning as needed.
• Offer skill-building, teaching, and coaching to support client growth.
• Assist with client intake, admission paperwork, and program orientation.
• Administer medications per policy where applicable.
