Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, is seeking an Incident Management Specialist in Houston, TX to strengthen operational readiness and crisis leadership capabilities. You will develop practical emergency management processes and support incident response across the organization.

The role works with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Security, Communications, and executives to ensure preparedness and consistent incident management; travel is required between 25% and 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience supporting crisis/incident management program development.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, crisis governance, and activation protocols.
• Ability to facilitate after-action reviews and corrective-action tracking.
• Experience in recovery governance, business impact assessments, and crisis recovery.
• Ability to coordinate with PHMSA, state and local emergency entities, and industry groups.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Support development and administration of emergency planning and crisis frameworks.
• Maintain crisis governance structures, activation criteria, and decision authorities.
• Develop crisis-management playbooks for events including natural disasters and cyber impacts.
• Support executive decision-making with situation reports and impact assessments.
• Serve as SME for Incident Command System and training pathways.
• Design multi-year exercise strategies and conduct drills and simulations.
• Coordinate reviews of emergency response plans and notification processes.
