Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician Licensed for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position in Springfield, Oregon. This billable role requires an active Oregon licensed credential and an active NPI for billing.

The team provides access to urgent and ongoing behavioral health services in ED and inpatient units. The position emphasizes trauma-informed, patient-centered care, with supervision of interns and collaboration across disciplines within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in behavioral health.
• Experience in diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex mental health conditions.
• Clinical supervision experience with bachelor’s and master’s level clinicians (preferred).
• Upon hire licensed in Oregon (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) for jobs based in Oregon.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family, group and multi-family therapy to patients with complex diagnoses.
• Provides clinical leadership to a team of clinicians and interns.
• Develops and monitors a comprehensive plan of care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Assesses and intervenes to improve cognitive, social, vocational, spiritual, and emotional functioning.
• Provides urgent/crisis evaluations, interventions, and safety planning.
• Collaborates with consumer and natural supports to address treatment goals.
• May perform case management and coordinate with external services.
