Job summary

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Crisis Services Training Specialist within the School of Social Work to deliver and develop training content for crisis intervention services across Illinois.

The role requires Master’s in social work, crisis work experience, and licensure, with IM+CANS/IM-CAT training and statewide travel. Hybrid/Remote options may be available, with on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field required.
• 1–3 years of crisis work experience.
• Illinois clinical licensure and LPHA status preferred or within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver statewide trainings, both web-based and on-site, for IM+CANS, IM-CAT, CSP, and related topics.
• Engage Medicaid providers to assess challenges and develop implementation strategies.
• Develop and refine trainings on crisis intervention and care planning for children and families.
• Travel statewide as needed to deliver trainings.
