Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and implement CIT trainings for law enforcement and first responders.
• Provide educational training on mental health crises, resources, crisis intervention, and de-escalation.
• Develop and maintain a qualified CIT Trainer Cadre.
• Coordinate scheduling of off-duty officers for CITAC shifts.
• Maintain communication with law enforcement and community stakeholders.
• Update the CITAC MOU every two years.
• Prepare and submit data and financial reports to DBHDS and others timely.
