Crossroads Community Services Board is seeking a qualified CIT Coordinator to oversee and support the development, coordination, and implementation of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programming and training.
The CIT Coordinator will build and maintain strong professional relationships with community stakeholders, including law enforcement officers, emergency responders, hospital emergency department staff, magistrates, and other community partners. This position is responsible for coordinating CIT training, maintaining a qualified CIT Trainer Cadre, supporting CIT Assessment Center (CITAC) operations, and ensuring required program, financial, and grant-related data are submitted accurately and timely.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crisis intervention, CIT program development, first-responder culture, and community collaboration.
The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required background screenings, which may include fingerprinting, Sex Offender Registry and Crimes Against Minors Registry searches, and any other screenings required by Crossroads Community Services Board or applicable regulations.
