Job summary

Waukesha County Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting for Pool Clinical Therapist positions (may underfill as Senior Mental Health Counselor). The Clinical Therapist will primarily assign to the Waukesha County Crisis Intervention Services Team and provide mobile crisis intervention services.

The Clinical Therapist is expected to work a minimum of three eight-hour weekend shifts per month. The position may be filled as a Senior Mental Health Counselor with similar responsibilities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational), counseling and guidance, social work or a closely related area.
• Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor in Training, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Training, status as a minimum.
• Two years of post-bachelor work experience in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational), counseling and guidance, social work or a closely related area.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis intervention services as part of the Crisis Intervention Services Team.
• Work weekend, observed as a minimum of three eight-hour shifts per month; some holidays and occasional weekday shifts may be required.

Education

Master's degree in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational)

Two years of post‑bachelor work experience in psychology
