IGHL Inc. is seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist to support staff during behavioral interventions, monitor consumer interactions and guide goals for social development. The role emphasizes safe redirection, documentation, and collaboration with multiple programs within the agency.

The CIS will coordinate coverage, assist in program planning, and promote independence in daily activities while maintaining thorough records in accordance with IGHL and OPWDD policies.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with disabled population.
• At least 1 year with behaviorally challenged consumers.

Aufgaben

• Proactively support staff during behavioral interventions and monitor interactions for safety and quality.
• Receive and coordinate coverage assignments from Assistant Director of Clinic; assign as needed.
• Assist in planning and reviewing consumer adaptive behavior goal plans and observe implementation.
• Maintain accurate logs for behavioral observation, nursing, medications, and safety procedures.
• Promote independence by guiding daily routines and activities, including meals and community trips.
• Be knowledgeable of CFA components and conduct consumer-focused meetings and reviews.
• Maintain DRIVER AUTHORIZATION status per IGHL policy.
• Adhere to IGHL and OPWDD policies; complete safety, incident, and time paperwork as required.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and agency meetings; request supplies as needed.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
