Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a compassionate Crisis Intervention Specialist to provide crisis intervention services across multiple Illinois counties on a part-time, as-needed basis. The role includes assessments, safety planning, referrals, and strong collaboration with community partners.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of supervised mental health experience or a master’s degree with limited supervised hours.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilledCrisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. This part-time position will work on an as-needed basis throughout St. Clair, Randolph, Perry, Clinton, Washington, Monroe Counties. This role is essential in supporting individuals during moments of emotional crisis, promoting recovery through trauma-informed care, and connecting people to vital community resources. Preference will be given to applicants who live within these counties.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.00 - $22.00 an hour .
