Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling to individuals in Cambria County.
  • Respond to crisis calls and coordinate referrals to services.
  • Collaborate with a team to connect clients with community resources.
  • Maintain confidentiality and complete required compliance clearances.

Crisis Intervention services include telephone, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services throughout Cambria County.CCR’s mission is connecting people to services. (Degree/course work is Sociology, Social Work, Human Development and Psychology are strongly preferred) orBe a registered nurse orHave a High School diploma or equivalency AND 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Gerontology or other Social Science AND 2 years of experience in public or private human services with 1 year of mental health direct care experience(Associates degree with minimum of 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology and Human Development is strongly preferred)(2 years of direct mental health experience is strongly preferred)Experience:One year experience in Crisis Services or in the mental health field preferred with a bachelors degree.
