Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care seeks a qualified crisis screener to provide psychiatric emergency services, assessment and stabilization within a 24/7 crisis center in New Jersey. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, pursuing crisis resolution while supervising toward licensure for eligible candidates.

Position includes benefits and growth opportunities. Applicants must have a Master's in a mental health field or a BA/BS with relevant experience, or be a licensed RN, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Master's (MA/MS) degree in mental health related field is required.
• Bachelor's (BA/BS) with 2 years experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting; or RN license.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric emergency services, including crisis assessment, intervention, outreach, and screening for commitment to promote safety of the client in crisis;
• Facilitate a resolution of the crisis within the least restrictive environment possible

The Camden County designated Crisis Screening Center provides screening and stabilization services to adults and youth experiencing a psychiatric emergency 24/7, 365 days a year. Team members work to safely resolve behavioral health crisis through intervention, assessment and stabilization. If you’re looking to gain experience in the mental health field, we’ll support you through the process of obtaining your crisis screening certificate. You’ll receive supervision and train alongside a crisis screener working within a multidisciplinary team to help individuals going through a mental health crisis through intervention and stabilization.

Salary: $20.52 USD to $22.58 USD/per hour

Qualifications:
