• Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure as LMSW (New York).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and triage patients to appropriate settings (waiting areas, voluntary/involuntary, child/family, or emergency department evaluations).
• Care for and provide treatment modalities to outpatient and extended observation clients.
• Perform intensive casework, assessment, intervention, and referral services to patients and/or their families.
• Collaborate with social work, psychiatrists, clinical affiliates, and unit support staff; liaise to other services along the continuum of care and community support services.
