Banner Health is seeking a Crisis and Intake Therapist to join Banner Staffing Services-WR in Greeley, Colorado. The role provides comprehensive mental health evaluations and coordinates behavioral health care, with telehealth support for rural hospitals and in-person coverage at Banner North Colorado Medical Center and Banner Fort Collins Medical Center.

The position may involve day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, averaging 1-12 hours per week with a minimum of 2 shifts per month, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, behavioral health, or related field, or education required for licensure.
• Requires licensure in LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LAC/LASAC/LISAC/LCMFT or MFT, and BLS.
• 2 years of clinical experience with psychotherapy or counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs crisis and intake assessments and determines level of care needs.
• Coordinates inpatient/outpatient admissions or alternative care facilities.
• Provides crisis stabilization and coordinates with families and other agencies.
• Documents thoroughly in the medical record and follows hospital policies.
• Develops discharge plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Interacts with external payers and providers as needed.
• Maintains current knowledge of DSM disorders and relevant protocols.
• Responds to requests for assessments and consultations within bylaw guidelines.
• Supports telehealth services for Banner facilities and rural hospitals.
