Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a dedicated Crisis Management Lead within its Environmental Health & Safety team in the Washington, DC area. You will support the development and implementation of Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational continuity during emergencies.

The role requires collaboration with Facilities, Security, Legal, HR, Operations, and Engineering, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness, or a related field focused on incident response.
• Ability to understand and contribute to the development of emergency response plans and a proactive mindset toward crisis preparedness and response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person due to access to ITAR/EAR controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Support Emergency Response Plan Development: Assist in the design, writing, and implementation of ERPs and related protocols.
• Contribute to Emergency Action Plans: Help develop clear, actionable EAPs.
• Facilitate Training and Drills: Coordinate training sessions and tabletop exercises.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Facilities, Corporate Security, Legal, HR, Operations, and Engineering.
• Assist with Crisis Management Support: Coordinate responses during critical incidents.
• Support Risk Assessment: Identify and analyze risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Help Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ERPs and EAPs meet regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Contribute to Communication Management: Establish and test clear communication channels for emergencies.
• Support Continuous Improvement: Review and update Crisis Management framework and playbooks.
• Partner Within EH&S: Coordinate with safety and compliance teams to reflect site-specific hazards.
