South County Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated crisis diversion peer support specialist to join our Community Response Team. The role involves mobile emergency services in community settings and diversion-site work, with a 3pm–Midnight schedule from Wednesday to Saturday.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of personal recovery experience. Training toward Kansas certification, including becoming a Certified Peer Specialist, is provided.

Hourly position: starting wage is $20.23/ hour (includes an additional $1 per hour for shift differential).
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 3pm to Midnight
This position consists of providing comprehensive mobile emergency services in community settings as a member of a specially trained community response team and services within the diversion site.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years demonstrated personal recovery experience. Selected applicant will receive training and support in becoming certified through the State of Kansas.
Training includes becoming a Certified Peer Specialist.
