Job summary

UPMC WPH Altoona Crisis Services is Blair County’s premiere crisis program. We are expanding to mobile and other departments, seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as Casual Crisis Clinician.

You will respond to mobile crisis calls, gather clinical information, schedule outpatient evaluations, and document duties. Roles range from Associate to Clin I/II with pay levels varying by education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload for the shift
• Obtaining clinical information in the medical record
• Provide supportive counseling to consumers to promote stability
• Work efficiently and independently in crisis setting
• Support consumer and negotiates appropriate referral services
• Collaborates with the Clin II such case consultations
• Meets documentation and completes all required paperwork
• Completes face to face crisis assessments
• Responding to telephone calls from consumer(s) community and natural supports
• Manages crisis situations effectively
• Complete case reviews
