UPMC WPH Altoona Crisis Services is Blair County’s premier crisis program, expanding into mobile and other departments, seeking skilled caring professionals to join our team. As a Casual Crisis Clinician, you will respond to mobile crisis calls, gather clinical information, schedule outpatient evaluations, provide supportive counseling, and document all duties.

This role offers varied caseloads and opportunities to work independently in crisis settings.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload for the shift
• Obtaining clinical information in the medical record
• Provide supportive counseling to consumers to promote stability.
• Work efficiently and independently in crisis setting
• Support consumer and negotiates appropriate referral services.
• Collaborates with the Clin II such case consultations
• Meets documentation and completes all required paperwork.
• Completes face to face crisis assessments
• Responding to telephone calls from consumer(s) community and natural supports
• Manages crisis situations effectively
• Complete case reviews
