Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking a Clinician for its Mobile Crisis Intervention team. You will perform telephone triage, screening, counseling, and crisis evaluations for adults, children, and families, coordinating dispositions and consulting with related professionals.

Responsibilities include gathering psychosocial histories, developing crisis intervention plans, and providing short‑term therapy as needed. Clinical supervision is provided weekly by licensed professionals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or similar field is required.
  • Degree must be from an accredited university and meet licensure requirements.
  • Minimum of one year experience in crisis intervention or related setting.
  • Experience assessing adults, children, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct crisis evaluations using established assessment tools and documentation.
  • Perform on-site and community-based evaluations, traveling as needed.
  • Use clinical judgment to assess needs and determine appropriate service level.
  • Provide short-term crisis follow-up, stabilization, counseling, and referrals.
  • Provide triage, pre-screening, telephone support, and consultations.

We are seeking a Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis Intervention team. In this role, you will provide telephone triage, screening, counseling, and face-to-face crisis evaluations for adults, children, and families. Responsibilities include gathering psychosocial histories, developing crisis intervention plans, providing crisis stabilization counseling, and coordinating appropriate dispositions. You'll consult with other therapists, agencies, and families, and provide short-term individual or family therapy as needed.

Clinical staff receive at least weekly supervision from independently licensed, qualified mental health professionals.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct crisis evaluations using established assessment tools, including clinical assessment, formulation, collateral contacts, therapeutic interventions, risk assessment, diagnosis, documentation, supervisor consultation, and disposition planning.
  • Conduct evaluations both on-site and in community settings, including traveling to community locations as needed.
  • Use clinical judgment to gather information, assess client needs, determine the appropriate level of service, and respond effectively to risk and safety concerns.
  • Provide short-term crisis follow-up, stabilization interventions, supportive counseling, resources, and referrals as clinically indicated.
  • Provide triage, pre-screening, telephone support, referrals, education, and consultation to clients, families, community agencies, and other professionals by phone, walk-in, or in person.
Schedule

Full time | 36 hours/week

Hours

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8am - 8pm

There is a shift differential payment of an additional $8/hour for hours worked within the time periods below:

Weekdays: 8 pm – 8 am

Weekends: 8 pm – 8 am and 8 am – 8 pm

(All hours worked from Friday at 8 pm through Monday 8 am)

What You'll Bring
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other similar field required.
  • Degree must be from an accredited university and meet the requirements for independent licensure.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Crisis Intervention or similar setting, or related field placement in Crisis Intervention setting.
  • Demonstrated experience and training in assessing adults, children, and families.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

Salary Range

$31.25 - $45.68 USD
