Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. In this role, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.

Our CCS unit is a newly renovated 10-bed facility where individuals in crisis receive short-term stabilization and support.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree).
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care.
  • One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document clients' self administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.
  • Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
  • Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being.
  • Deliver strength based, solution focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans.
  • Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. In this role, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.

Our CCS program features a newly renovated 10 bed unit where individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis receive short-term stabilization and support. Typical stays range from 3 to 5 days but are flexible based on each individual's needs.

Part-Time | 16 Hours

Schedule: Alternating Weekends (Every Other Weekend)
Hours:
  • Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Friday & Saturday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
What You Will Do:

By joining Aspire Health and Community Services, you will make a direct impact supporting adults during times of behavioral health crisis, collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a newly renovated crisis stabilization program, and help individuals achieve stability and recovery in a compassionate, community-based setting.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

Salary Range

$40.24 — $48.32 USD
