Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health System’s ACCESS Team seeks an experienced clinician to conduct crisis evaluations for inpatients and outpatients, applying appropriate intervention strategies to stabilize patients and families.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a mental health field, with NH LICSW/LCMH eligibility and a 5-year attainment window after hire. The position offers comprehensive health perks and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in social work, counseling, or mental health field.
• License eligible as LICSW or LCMH in New Hampshire; must obtain within 5 years of hire.
• Previous experience in social work, mental health, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis intervention assessments for inpatients and outpatients.
• Initiate involuntary/voluntary emergency admissions.
• Perform suicide risk assessments.
• Provide psychiatric triage and 1:1 crisis interventions.

After an evaluation, a referral will be made to the most appropriate services, including outpatient services, partial or inpatient hospitalization.
