Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a Crisis Care Consultant to join a 24/7/365 high-volume suicide prevention focused call team. You will perform telephonic clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention for individuals in acute mental health crisis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention.
• Conduct outreach calls to promote safety for individuals assessed by mobile crisis.
• Link individuals to appropriate programs, services, and community resources.
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and quality assurance activities.

Our department has been featured in a Time Magazine article detailing our team’s efforts toward suicide prevention. As a part of this team, you’d be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis.
