Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Crisis Care CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to assess, support and signpost children and young people in crisis across CAMHS pathways. You will work with Home Treatment, Rapid Response and paediatric liaison teams.

Based at Forrest House, Royal Oldham Hospital, you will contribute to the Acute Care Pathway and provide flexible, cross-footprint care across the Pennine Care footprint.

Qualifications

• Professional registration in Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy is required.
• Experience working with children and young people in crisis.
• Ability to collaborate across pathways and traditional boundaries to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support children and young people in crisis.
• Provide signposting and brief therapeutic interventions where appropriate.
• Work within CAMHS crisis services including Home Treatment, Rapid Response and paediatric liaison.
