Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking Licensed or License Eligible Clinician to join our Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Unit in Chicopee, MA. You will provide crisis assessments, individual and group therapy, and care coordination to adults 24/7.

Open positions require a Master’s in mental health counseling, social work or related field, licensure eligibility, strong communication skills, and ability to use an electronic health record. Weekend day work is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s in mental health counseling, social work or related field.
• Eligible for licensure with license renewal in good standing.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Able to use a computer and electronic health record.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Able to pass CORI and driving background check.

Responsibilities

• Engage on-site clients in behavioral health crisis.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, individual and group therapy, and care coordination.
• Maintain safety of clients and collaborate with family or supports.
• Plan discharge to appropriate levels of care.
• Learn and apply treatment methods consistent with standards.
• Attend external agency meetings and periodic trainings.
• Uphold CHD mission and values in interactions.
