Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD)’s Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Unit seeks Clinicians to join a team delivering on-site behavioral health crisis care for adults. The program operates 24/7, offering assessments, care coordination, and follow-up, with integrated services across CHD’s Community Services Network.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in mental health counseling or social work, are eligible for licensure, and possess strong communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work or related field.
• Clinician must be eligible for licensure and maintain license in good standing.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication and able to use an electronic health record.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Pass a CORI and driving background check.

Responsibilities

• Engage on-site clients in behavioral health crisis and conduct comprehensive assessments.
• Provide individual and group therapy and some care coordination.
• Maintain client safety and coordinate discharge to appropriate levels of care.
• Collaborate with family or community supports and document accordingly.
• Attend meetings and supervision as required and maintain client records.
