California State University, Fresno is seeking an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) to start in Fall 2027. This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and providing academic support to students in criminal justice.
The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in a related discipline and will have experience in university-level teaching as well as research in law enforcement or victimology.

Assistant Professor (Tenure‑Track)

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminal justice and related disciplines.
• Conduct scholarly and applied research, including grant writing and publication.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students, especially in Criminology and Forensic Behavioral Sciences majors.
• Participate in program development, committee service, and university governance activities as needed.
Note: Candidates holding only a J.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. are not eligible for this position.
