Job summary

The City of Peoria Police Department seeks a Civilian Investigator for the Case Management Unit. This full-time, four 10-hour shift position focuses on criminal records integrity, disposition reconciliation, and state/national reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will own the Final Disposition Reporting workflow, cross-checking court records with arrest reports to reduce open backlogs, while coordinating with AZDPS and courts to share records efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience in a related role.
• Background check including polygraph required.
• AZDPS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced case research across local, state, and federal databases.
• Reduce disposition backlog by reviewing reports and submitting corrections.
• Coordinate with courts and prosecutors to share records of criminal history.
• Maintain accurate electronic case histories and logs.
