Aufgaben

• Represent the State of Texas in all matters handled by the Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
• Attend court settings and hearings.
• Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Correspond with law enforcement, victims, witnesses, judges, and attorneys.
• Prepare criminal cases for trial, gather and review evidence, interview victims and witnesses, interview police officers, visit crime scenes, plan jury trials, review case law.
• Prosecute criminal trials, select juries, make openings, question witnesses, admit evidence, and argue before judges and juries.
• Review and interpret legal issues.
• Maintain relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
