Qualifications

• Must have JD and be admitted to the Georgia Bar.
• Minimum three years as a practicing attorney or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn county policies and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in bench and jury trials, including motions and sentencing recommendations.
• Investigate, prepare, and manage cases for trial with evidence and witnesses.
• Research case law and draft briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials.
• Review files for jurisdiction, venue, and legal sufficiency.
• Negotiate pleas and coordinate with victims, law enforcement, and partners.
• Maintain case records and communicate updates to stakeholders.
