Qualifications

• Attention to detail in managing inmate property and records.
• Clerical skills for filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
• Self-management with minimal supervision and timely task completion.
• Clear oral and written communication for documentation and coordination.
• Problem solving to identify issues and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming/outgoing inmate property and organized property rooms.
• Maintain meticulous records in both computerized and hard-copy formats and screen for contraband.
• Investigate lost/damaged property with documentation of inmate movements and related records.
• Handle abandoned/excess property per Department policies and dispose as required.
• Assist with inmate records maintenance including judgments, bookings, classifications, and disciplinary paperwork.
