Qualifications

• Must possess NYS CTE Teaching Certification in Security Operations and Law Enforcement Services or be eligible to obtain before start.
• Strong knowledge of criminal justice, law enforcement, public safety, or related fields with solid instructional capability.
• Experience with secondary students and building partnerships with local agencies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach criminal justice, law enforcement, public safety, and workplace readiness.
• Coordinate with academic teachers to integrate career and technical curricula.
• Develop lesson plans, assess pupil performance, and maintain accurate records.
• Establish safe, orderly classrooms and align with state learning standards.
• Communicate with parents, counselors, and employers regarding pupil progress.
