Job summary

Via is hiring a criminal justice recovery practitioner for the Gloucestershire Service in Gloucester. You will engage individuals with court orders (CSTR), provide support, advice and harm reduction guidance, and work with housing, mental health and clinical teams to help people engage with services.

The role involves facilitating referrals, conducting assessments with VIA hub and Criminal Justice Team colleagues, and supporting broader community integration and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a criminal justice recovery practitioner or with Gloucestershire Service.
• Experience working with Probation and the courts, and with mental health and housing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals given a court order (CSTR) to engage with VIA, offering support, advice and interventions and ensuring harm reduction advice is given.
• Liaise with housing, mental health and clinical teams to support engagement.
• Facilitate referrals into community services and carry out assessments with VIA hub teams and the wider Criminal Justice Team.
