Job summary

ECPI University seeks a Criminal Justice faculty member at its Virginia Beach, VA campus. You will provide practical hands‑on instruction in an engaging learning environment, using innovative teaching methods to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related discipline from a regionally accredited institution or a Master’s degree with 18+ graduate semester credits in the discipline; terminal degree (PhD, JD) preferred.
• 3-5 years of criminal justice or related work experience within the past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment using innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Teach Criminal Justice courses with small class sizes and hands-on industry experience.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment to support student success.
• Support ECPI University's mission as a dynamic, student-focused educator.

Job description

Compensation: $1,444 – $1,499 per course section. Compensation is determined by discipline, credential level, and course type. Ranges reflect good faith estimates based on current pay practices.

This position is based at our Virginia Beach, VA campus location.

As a faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes.
