About the Role

Special agents perform investigations and protective duties across various locations in the U.S. and abroad. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing protection for protectees.
2. Conducting criminal investigations related to U.S. financial obligations.
3. Planning security for National Special Security Events.

Minimum Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• Valid driver's license
• Firearm proficiency and the ability to carry and use a firearm
• Age between 21 and 37 at the time of conditional employment offer (exceptions apply for veterans and prior federal service)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
• Visual acuity of 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 in each eye
• Hearing within specified limits
• Pass drug testing
• Complete intensive training at FLETC and James J. Rowley Training Center
• Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and overseas
• Register with the Selective Service System or be exempt
