Overview

We are seeking courageous, intelligent, strong, and determined individuals to join our diverse team. As a special agent, you will balance investigative and protective missions, earning trust and confidence while serving your country with honor, distinction, and pride.

Responsibilities

• Providing protection for various protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations related to financial obligations of the United States.
• Planning and implementing security for National Special Security Events.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to carry and use a firearm; firearm proficiency is mandatory.
• At least 21 years old at application, less than 37 at conditional job offer, with exceptions for certain veterans and prior federal service.
• Obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 or better.
• Hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in each ear.
• Pass drug testing prior to appointment and randomly thereafter.
• Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC in Glynco, GA, and 18 weeks at James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
• Willingness to accept assignments across the U.S. and abroad.
• Register with the Selective Service System if applicable.
