Overview

Responsibilities
  • Providing protection for various protectees.
  • Conducting criminal investigations related to financial obligations of the United States.
  • Planning and executing security designs for National Special Security Events.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to carry and use a firearm, with mandatory firearm proficiency.
  • At least 21 years old at application time and less than 37 at conditional job offer, with exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service or veteran’s preference.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 in each eye.
  • Hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in each ear in specified ranges.
  • Successful drug testing prior to appointment and during employment.
  • Completion of 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks at James J. Rowley Training Center.
  • Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and abroad.
  • Registration with the Selective Service System or exemption, if applicable.
Additional Details

This is an entry-level, full-time position within the law enforcement industry. Candidates will undergo extensive training and may be assigned anywhere within the U.S. or internationally. The role offers a recruitment incentive of $40,000, subject to regulatory eligibility.
