Job summary

Qualifications

Specialized experience required: at least one year at GS-13 level by closing date.
Experience leading investigations and providing guidance on investigative procedures.
Experience interpreting federal statutory responsibilities and applying them to agencies and industries.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements branch policies, practices, and procedures.
Advises the deputy division chief and/or division chief on significant issues pertaining to branch programs.
Responsible for assessing, developing, and evaluating program goals, needs, operations, and accomplishments.
Conducts short- and long-range planning for branch goals and objectives in response to changes in funding or policy.
Coordinates projects with management officials in other ATF divisions, the DOJ, and law enforcement agencies.
